The environmental object “Baltic Paganism” explores two contrasting sides of paganism – the wild and the magical.
The concept highlights the opposition between ancient brutal sacrificial rituals, instinct-driven human behavior, and
the side of paganism that lives on today through magical traditions, protective symbols, myths, and deities.
Black coal material represents the wild, dead, and insensitive aspect of paganism, while greenery symbolizes the living,
protective, and harmonious side. The spherical form embodies wholeness, unity, protection, infinity, and harmony – all
values deeply rooted in ancient pagan rituals.
